The school car park was re-lined using yellow & white thermoplastic paint. Certain parking bays were named for principle teachers & staff. Disabled parking was also incorporated as well as keep clear zones, speed limit signs and yellow hatched areas. Although a small job it was still given our usual 100% and the results were great as always.

Co-Op Distribution Centre, St Helens – Jan – March 2017

This was a large contract in St Helens, Warrington. The whole site was re-lined which included approximately 500 truck loading bays, all the road markings, pedestrian crossings, pedestrian safe walkways, speed humps, reflective road studs, yellow hatched areas and visitor parking bays. We also applied bespoke markings ie Co-Op Logo. White & yellow thermoplastic was used for the markings which is long lasting and very durable. As the site operates 24 hrs a day the work had to be carried out whilst trucks were maneuvering all the time, approximately 1500 trucks pass in & out of the site each day. Safety was paramount for both our employees and Co-op employees & visitors.

Heysham Nuclear Power Station, staff car park – March 2017

Over one weekend in March 2017 we re-applied all the car parking bays in hot applied white thermoplastic product. We also used yellow thermoplastic to produce yellow hatched areas. An extensive amount of green non-slip pedestrian walkways were then applied around the car park. Various pedestrian crossings were added where needed too.

Before the works could commence we had to satisfy extensive requirements regarding Risk Assessments and COSSH Risk assessments. In depth technical data was needed for every material to be used at the power site. All requirements were met satisfactorily.
